EU/EFTA citizens wishing to study in Geneva should apply for a Student Residence Permit at the Office Cantonal de la Population du Canton de Genève (OCP).

Non EU/EFTA citizens should apply for a Student Visa through a Swiss Representation (Embassy or Consulate) in their  country of origin. These agencies will then transfer the file to the OCP via diplomatic courier.

In both cases, you must submit a portfolio of documents.

Bellow are the documents that École du Monde provides :

1. ENROLLMENT CERTIFICATE

2. TOTAL WEEKLY CLASS HOURS

3. CLASS SCHEDULE  (MORNING OR AFTERNOON)

4. COURSE DESCRIPTION

5. TOTAL LENGTH OF STUDY

The following application items are requested by the OCP :

Presentation of above mentioned documents and informations does not figure any determination about the final decision, which will be taken by the authority. This authority freely agrees to grant or not the requested authorization; there is no influence acting on this decision, despite any steps the applicant has taken (apartment rent for example).

At the moment these OCP forms are only available in French. If you would like additional information regarding visa or permit applications, pleae click here or send us an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
